Meet the principle lawyer and managing director Andrew DouglasAndrew is an experienced commercial litigation and workplace lawyer, who acts both as a solicitor and advocate.

During many years as a lawyer with specialised skills in workplace law and commercial litigation, Andrew has appeared for clients in tribunals, commissions, magistrates’ courts, and supreme and federal court hearings.

Prior to establishing Douglas Workplace & Litigation Lawyers in 2006, Andrew was a partner with Heinz and Partners.

Andrew’s vision for Douglas Workplace & Litigation Lawyers is to grow a firm which helps businesses thrive, by guiding them through the complex and shifting demands of workplace law and managing broader commercial risks and disputes in their businesses.

Andrew is also Chairman of the Tony Douglas Foundation, honorary solicitor for the Duke of Edinburgh Award in Victoria and Director of the Award in Victoria, the Managing Director of the Douglas Group of Companies and a director of the Kirrit Bareet Gallery.
